What are your opinions of the Circle Justice system?
I think that the Circle of Justice is helpful because it helps people learn from the experiences that the circle of justice gives them. It helps people re-think about what they’ve done without punishing them.
In what ways it better alternative than the system of justice we use?
The circle of justice to me is more open and more forgiving then what we have. We simply obey the law, and follow the rules. The circle of justice lets both sides of the situation talk and makes the person more understanding then regretful.
In what ways is it inferior?
I don’t think it has many inferior points because it sounds fair to me, but if there were any i think it would be that they let perfect strangers into the meetings. If you let strangers in then they don’t really know the person, and that makes it hard.
Do you think it has the potential to resolve the situation Cole Matthew finds himself in?
I think that it’s a new kind of resolution for Cole because he’s probably used to having people on his back, trying to punish him. It doesn’t help that he played the innocent, misunderstood child trying to get into it, though. I think that being alone on an island will help him and give him a totally different situation then he’s used to being in.
